About thinkbridge: there’s a new way there™

A remote-first team that has built custom software since 2009 and now builds AI-native business systems for growing companies.

Our story

You shouldn't have to settle for options you don't love.

For far too long, leaders of growing companies have been stuck between software that almost fits, rented forever, and consulting projects with open-ended bills that take years to go live. The result is a fragmented stack of tools and spreadsheets held together by people, and AI has only made it worse, becoming one more tool in a stack that was already too crowded.

There's a new way there™. That's the idea behind thinkbridge: think bigger, move faster, go further.

The founder story

Our story.

Founded in 2009 as Anamika by leaders with more than 30 years of solving business problems with technology. It became thinkbridge in 2014.

“Software should fit the business, not the other way around. It should speak the language of the business, not some generic best practice. And it should be accountable, priced on the value it delivers.”

  1. 2009

    Our founding

Founded as Anamika, a custom software consulting business. The name means “no name” in Hindi. From 2009 to 2014 it delivered several custom development projects for large Fortune 1000 companies.

  2. 2014

Our transformation to thinkbridge inspired by ‘Pliny’

Anamika became thinkbridge, a cloud-native “tech-as-a-service” company, and opened its labs center in India to design, build and operate software. Our mandate, inspired by Rice University's Pliny Project, was to figure out how to deliver software faster and for less than off-the-shelf software.

Several industry firsts for a company our size
  3. 2016

    Accelerated software development

We ramped up our engineering accelerators to speed up software development and help clients see value sooner. We called it accelerated software development. Remote-first was our core all along. We reinforced it from 2014, once the technology was mature enough to support it.

  4. 2018

    Helping companies put technology first

From 2018 to 2020 we kept designing, building and operating software, with the aim of helping companies put technology first and increase the value of their business.

  5. 2020

    Business kept running

When COVID hit, our remote-first strategy and our industry firsts helped our clients run their business without missing a beat.

  6. 2021

    Our first design-to-code platform

Our accelerators grew into our first design-to-code platform, which generated code automatically from a visual designer. It was generally successful, so we kept investing heavily in cutting the time and cost of custom-fit software. We also started growing our team in Latin America.

  7. 2022

LLMs supercharge our code gen platform

We had several machine learning projects in production and were experimenting with machine learning for code generation when large language models arrived. They gave our design-to-code platform a booster shot and made us more confident in our mission.

  8. 2025

    We launch thinkOne

Between 2022 and 2025 we rapidly launched several enhancements to our design-to-code platform. In 2025 we launched thinkOne, our methodology that pairs our forward-deployed experts with an agentic engineering and delivery platform.

  9. Today

We deliver every service with thinkOne

We deliver custom-fit software faster and for less than off-the-shelf software. Systems go live about four months from kickoff and belong to the client at the end of the term.

    How thinkOne works

Selective about who we hire. And who we work with.

Our team is built for long-term partnerships. Our revenue is tied to our clients' results, our core values drive every engagement, and our leaders stay involved from the first conversation through go-live and managed care.

What changed for the people who use the system every day?

“Supervisors used to hand-merge sales sheets from 200+ stores. Now every sale appears in the client portal at the moment it’s logged, so production follows what’s selling. What took 30 to 60 days now takes seconds.”

What do you do now that the agentic platform does the build?

“Building is cheap now, so my work moved upstream: deciding what deserves to be built first. The agent will happily build all of it, so the plan is where I earn my keep.”

What changed for the people who use the system every day?

“Supply Chain used to check stock, open orders and forecast in three places before every decision. Now it takes one screen and one decision.”

It's how our clients become software-defined businesses. Systems go live in about four months and are priced on outcomes.
